Common Creation

Common Creation is an experimental music project that combines antiquated psychedelic soul with heavily saturated electronic beats to create a unique combination of past and future. The project was begun by DJ/ Producer Chris Teel in 2015 and aims to recreate the live instrumentation and emotional evocation of a psychedelic jam band with the cutting edge danceability of modern electronic dance beats. Teel uses modern synthesis and advanced sampling techniques to create a unique world of rich timbre and haunting electronic melodies, punctuated by hypnotic vocals and unexpected heavy drops. His new EP “Manufactured Moments” is the fourth EP in a string of releases that have shaped the Common Creation sound. Along side drummer JT Ward, performances consist of a high energy combination of skillful instrumentation and heavy electronic jams for a one of a kind live experience.
